We arrived just before the big blizzard of January 12. This scenery outside of our window confirmed that we are definitely not in San Francisco anymore!
Coastal storms-which Bostonians refer to as “Nor’easter (Northeasters)”-produce much of the rain and snow. We were properly introduced to New England winter by this big boy. For reference, here is the average snow falls for January vs. what was dumped in this singular storm:
