deCordova is a place one can get lost for a long while and not even care. There is a main building that houses rotating art display. It’s not a very big building, but the rooftop is pretty nice. Wonderful location to host a party. *hint hint*
However, it’s really the outdoor area that stole my heart. In a large park filled with plenty of grass area to sit around on and contemporary sculptures sprinkled all around. I learned from their website that it’s a 35-acre campus! wow.
Here is the main lawn area. See the cute red man poking out on the side? it’s by an artist who resides and teaches in Cambridge. He calls it “OZYMANDIAS”. I have no idea what it means, but it’s very striking on a green lawn.
The park is a wonderful place to bring a picnic and hang out. Seriously, on a sunny day, it’s so calm and peaceful.

There is also often public events, like Yoga in the Park, and workshops available for anyone who’s interested. I only wish I live closer to it!
