craving for some J.T. Farnham’s Famous Clams

Once again, the power of Yelp led us to a great restaurant – J.T. Farnham’s Famous Clams.  Later on, we found out it also appeared on Food network’s “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives”.

Pulling up to this plain looking building on the side of the road.  One could easily miss it, if not for the sign in contrasting colors.

Inside, it’s very casual with all your standard diner-like furnishing and condiment bottles.

…Except for the duck.

The only menu is the board in the front by the cashier.  Luckily, the line doesn’t move super fast so you have some time to choose your menu when you actually get close enough to read it.

and your patience will be rewarded.  The lobster roll was YUMMY!  Light dressing with big chunks of lobster meat, on top of a shiny toast makes the perfect bite.

and no meal would be complete without some fried clams, chowda, and beer!
