a “secret” spot to visit while in Rockport – Halibut Point State Park
If I wasn’t told about the history, I wouldn’t have thought of it as an old granite quarry. The current day quarry is filled with water, surrounded by plants, and occupied by birds playfully moving around.
The water in it was just about as blue as the ocean. The green and beige was the only separation between the 2. What a treat to have found such a space. You can walk all around the quarry and even get really close to the waterline.
